The people behind Shop for Covers are car enthusiasts, we know from practice that properly maintaining a car can be a lot of work. After careful cleaning, we noticed that falling dust in the garage quickly created a haze over our Mini classic. Shame to see after all that hard work. Then we started looking for a car cover that had to meet both the protective properties and the fit. Only the very expensive OEM original car covers met this requirement. Reason for us to bring an alternative to the market that has the fit of the OEM car covers, but is even better protected and more competitive in terms of price. We did this with the Star Cover indoor car covers!

The range was soon expanded with a car cover that would also offer the best protection when used outside. This quest turned out to be even more difficult, but after long testing and development, a very strong car cover has emerged. In the quest to develop a car cover that would not be easily pulverized by the sun, has a stretch fit, a high waterproofness and a very high breathability, we decided to develop the material ourselves and convert it into an extremely strong car cover. The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) woven by nanotechnology has these properties.

A Shop for Covers car cover will only be launched on the market if we have tested it ourselves within our own fleet.
